Direct Mail - Rohrich Newspaper
Rohrich Cadillac wanted to celebrate their 60th anniversary with a
special mailing to be sent once a month for a year to potential and
existing customers. They needed a concept which promoted their
longevity. Action had the idea of creating a newspaper based on the
events of that particular year but featured events at Rohrich during
that time. Action designed a newspaper mailer that highlighted a time
in five year increments. Since the target audience was primarily over
40, the nostalgic news events were of interest. The inside spread
featured current specials at Rohrich and the back page was a
recreation of a Cadillac ad from that particular year. While there was
a series of 12, the mailer pictured represents the year 1978 and the
"disco" era. This mailing was so well received that radio stations
were
talking about it and showroom traffic increased significantly.
